Dedicated millwrights assemble, remove, align, test, and adjust all types of process equipment, conveying systems, and machinery to exacting specifications, from single units to entire manufacturing production lines. This division of NMI performs all the rigging work associated with machine moves.

NMI's substantial fleet of specialized equipment includes a fleet of tractor trailers, forklifts, lifts, trucks, boom lifts, and welders. This equipment facilitates NMI's reputation for rapid turnaround and off-hour emergency response. When labor and equipment need to reach the job site – fast – NMI Industrial has the staff to make it happen – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The NMI team can quickly move anything required – from a single piece of equipment to an entire plant.
Plant Relocation
NMI Industrial incorporates all of the services in-house that industrial clients may need. With the expertise to fabricate and install all types of process industrial equipment, NMI can also assist clients with finding a suitable site or building location. Plant relocation and new installation are NMI specialties.
The process begins with NMI staff, who conduct inspection and planning visits to both the clients source and the target sites. Craftsmen millwrights then begin the task of match-marking, unwiring, disconnecting and disassembling all that needs to be shipped to the target location before the plant relocation gets under way. Once the initial phase of the plant relocation is completed, NMI makes every effort to staff the reinstallation with the same craftsmen who performed the disassembly work. This leads to marked productivity gain, resulting from dramatically shortened learning curves with reduced schedules, faster turnarounds, and hence greater project savings.

Electrical and Instrumentation Installation
NMI installs industrial electrical systems – from service entrance to power distribution, to machine and process equipment. NMI's electrical experience and expertise covers all phases of industrial electrical work, from high voltage power distribution and motor control centers, to process system, machine wiring, and lighting – hazardous classifications included.
NMI installs, calibrates, starts-up, and commissions electronic and pneumatic process instrumentation. Expertise includes installation of PLC and DCS systems, as well as the installation of all types of field instrumentation, both electronic and pneumatic. Calibration traceable to NBS and commissioning of any system are additional functions. NMI field personnel are available as required by clients during system start-up, for system tuning, and for any field modifications needed to optimize process.
